Greenlee's Ellis promoted to Midwest regional sales manager

March 25, 2008 -- Tim Vanderaa, director of North American sales at Greenlee (Rockford, IL), a Textron company, recently announced the promotion of Chera M. Ellis to the position of regional sales manager - Midwest. Effective immediately, Ellis will be responsible for sales leadership and management of Greenlee's sales efforts in the Midwest U.S. region.

Ellis joined Greenlee in October 2000 as the company's product manager for DSV tools, and became senior product manager for the company's test and measurement line in September 2001. She most recently held the position of Greenlee's director of marketing.

Prior to joining Greenlee, Ellis worked at Sta-Rite Industries, Inc., where she held the role of assistant product manager. Other former work experience includes her role of senior packaging buyer for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation, and commodities buyer for Parker Pen/Gillette Stationary's products division.

Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and earned her MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in April 2005.

Greenlee is a supplier of professional tools to the global electrical, construction and maintenance markets.
