Hubbell intros 'triple play' wall plate

April 21, 2008 -- Hubbell Wiring Systems has introduced its netSELECT Triple Play Plate, a wall plate which the company says combines essential data/phone/voice connectivity within a stylish plate that seamlessly blends into its surroundings.

The wall plate supports Gigabit networks by incorporating a Cat 5e universally wired jack, for A or B wired network flexibility, with a discreet C5e molded-in icon. In addition, the plate features a 6-position USOC RJ-25 jack, with telephone molded-in icon. The RJ-25 format protects sensitive equipment by preventing inadvertent insertion of computer network cables. For CATV and satellite applications, the plate is equipped with an F-Type connector, nickel-plated to better match light colored walls.

Also known as the NS790xx Series, the company says the product is designed to appeal to builders, integrators, service providers and contractors because of its simplicity, style and cost-effective performance.
