OFS, Draka Comteq settle patent infringement suits

May 7, 2008 -- Furukawa Electric North America, Inc. and OFS Fitel, LLC, both of Norcross, GA, and Draka Comteq B.V., of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and Draka Comteq America, Inc. of North Dighton, MA, announced that the parties have fully and completely resolved the patent disputes at issue in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, Civ. Action No. 5:07-CV-00058 (the "North Carolina Case") and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Civ. Action No. 2:07-CV-427.

Having resolved these disputes, the parties jointly look forward to a continued successful future business relationship, according to a press release.
