May 9, 2008 -- Superior Essex announced that it will be participating in CRU's Wire and Cable Conference 2008. The two-day event is taking place June 2 - 3 at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona, Spain.
Stephen M. Carter, CEO of Superior Essex, will deliver the keynote address for the event, in a speech titled "Perspectives on Routes to Market for Wire and Cable Suppliers." According to a press release, the speech will cover global procurement and supply chain challenges and opportunities facing the magnet wire producer.
"We're pleased to be participating in our second CRU conference," comments Carter. "We find great value in this once-a-year opportunity to get together with our customers, vendors, peers and investors."
In addition to Carter, Tim Waldner, senior vice president of marketing and product development for the Superior Essex Communications Cable business segment, will be presenting during the show's structured cabling session. Waldner will discuss key drivers behind the uptake of 10 Gigabit Ethernet technology in the U.S.
