June 12, 2008 -- Digi-Key has entered into an agreement with Finisar, a provider of fiber-optic platforms for high-speed networks, for the distribution of Finisar optics products in North America.
"We are very pleased to enter into this new partnership agreement with Finisar," comments Mark Larson, president and COO of Digi-Key. "We are certain that Finisar's products will be of high interest and appeal to our customers as they enable efficient designing and testing of networking systems."
Finisar's network modules, components, and development kits are now featured in Digi-Key's print and online catalogs and are available for purchase directly from the distributor. For two decades, Finisar has been a provider of pluggable optical modules for the datacom and telecommunications industries.
