June 23, 2008 -- Bel Stewart Connector Inc. has received a supplier of the year award from Legrand North America, a provider of electrical and network infrastructure products and systems. The award cites Bel Stewart Connector for its excellence in customer service while supplying a variety of interconnect products for Legrand's customer base.
According to a press release, selected from a supplier base of 10,000 vendors, Bel Stewart was one of only five suppliers so recognized for outstanding performance and significant accomplishments during 2007. The award was presented to Pete Bittner, general manager of Bel Stewart Connector, by Nitin Raj Sharma, director of strategic sourcing for Legrand North America.
"We're extremely pleased to be recognized for the high-level dedication we brought to our partnership with Legrand last year," said Bittner. "This award demonstrates that our commitment to their success brings a measurable return: sustainable advantage in the marketplace for both companies."
