Alpha Technologies Services relocates NJ facility

November 20, 2008 -- Broadband power system service provider Alpha Technologies Services, Inc. (ATS) has relocated its Westville, NJ repair facility to Pennsauken, NJ, nearly tripling the company's repair depot floor space.

"The larger Pennsauken location was needed as we simply outgrew the old location," says Clay Koonce, general manager at Alpha's New Jersey plant. "Since May 2007, we have added routes that now cover about 60,000 miles each month and doubled our service personnel team. The Alpha brand and our high quality service have helped build our business to date and the expansion of the facility will continue that success."

The ATS Pennsauken Depot is comprised of more than 15,000 square feet, allowing for more service capacity and further growth. In addition, the new depot is located in a highly populated industrial area closer to major shipping terminals and driving routes than the old plant, reducing shipping costs and time associated with depot repairs, reports Alpha.

"The new Pennsauken depot will allow us to diversify the line of products we service," comments Fred Goodridge, director of technical services at Alpha. "And that will increase our visibility and further affirm our commitment to providing high quality service to our customers."

A member of The Alpha Group, Alpha Technologies Services Inc. field power service group provides customers with a variety of technical support and on-site power services. Regional service centers offer expert application services, warranty support, network power monitoring and customer training programs. Alpha certified field service specialists provide power system installation, site permitting, turn-up and testing, preventative maintenance, and on-site field service. The company operates four facilities across the country in Bellingham, WA, Suwanee, GA, Dallas, TX and now Pennsauken, NJ.
