December 2, 2008 -- Draka Communications – Americas recently announced network-services provider Millennium Communications Group completed the manufacturer's contractor training program and is now recognized as a certified Draka contractor.
Millennium's completion of the vendor-based training allows the company to offer Draka's extended warranty program on its end-to-end fiber-optic cable solutions.
"Millennium Communications Group has met and exceeded all requirements for certification involving fiber-optic network selection, design, and installation best practices," said Greg Williams, Draka's director of marketing. "MCG has proven its commitment to providing its staff with knowledge of Draka's latest cabling technology and completing our rigorous certification and training program."
Said Millenium executive manager of business development Dan Aloia: "Our partnership with Draka enhances our belief in continuously developing system designers and field personnel. Draka is offering its next comprehensive contractor training program January 12-15.
